Senior GCP Infrastructure Engineer

Avenga is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior GCP Infrastructure Engineer to play a pivotal role in supporting the migration of enterprise applications to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate is a seasoned Cloud/DevOps Engineer with robust experience in GCP, infrastructure automation, and enterprise cloud migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain GCP infrastructure solutions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
• Configure and manage cloud networking, security, IAM (Identity and Access Management), and monitoring systems within GCP.
• Provide essential support for the migration of enterprise workloads to GCP.
• Collaborate closely with Application, Platform, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration and secure operations.

Technical Requirements (Must-have)

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Kubernetes (preferably GKE) and/or Docker.
• Expertise in Cloud Networking, including VPC, VPN, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
• Strong knowledge of IAM and Cloud Security best practices.
• Proficiency in Linux Administration.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Experience with Monitoring and Logging solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Advanced English language proficiency.
• Experience with enterprise cloud migration projects.
